Tracking has been going really well. I'm within my calorie range and feel perfectly satisfied in the eating, not too full, not too hungry, just right!
Today I am taking the day off of P90X we have one rest day a week and this week today has to be the day. I have too much going on and just can't fit it in. I will make up for it on Sunday, my usual rest day!
For those of you who have asked I am doing the classic version of P90X and just started week 5. Can you believe hubby and I have made it 5 weeks, incredible! I think we just both want to see what this program will do for us.
And a little competition never killed a couple. We currently show each other the muscle definition we have and say things like "look at my leg, I have more definition then you, well you may have more definition but I am cuter " :-). You should see the lines and muscles on Peters legs, he walks around flexing his legs and arms and I could really just choke him... I mean I'm really proud of him :-).
Also for those of you who asked about the brussel sprouts, I just put them in a roasting pan with some Extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper and let them roast in the oven for about 20-30 minutes and that's it! They are super yummy!
In other news I'm getting my hair done on Saturday along with my mommy, we have a date!. I have naturally dark hair and the roots are about half way down my head. When Peter says "you should go get your hair done I'll watch the boys" I know it's long over due! I can't wait to see what I come back with this time! my hairdresser likes to tell me "I'm not doing THAT, I have something in mind for you! I love to hate her :-)

SYL!!! That is awesome! Way to go!! :) Now send some of that this way!! LOL Keep up the great work.
Roasted brussels sprouts! That sounds great! I will have to try that. :)
Have fun with your Mom!
Great job... I gave my scale up for Lent (along with other things).
I start Week #3 of P90X Doubles (or course the doubles dont start until week 5).
Hey. I just found your blog today. Congrats on making it to week 5 of p90x.... I've heard it's pretty tough and intimidating. I will be starting it - or at least plan too --- when I get caught up with the miles I need to complete my year goal.
Whoa! My scale is acting crazy too but if you're really 4 pounds down. ... that's amazing.
Kudos on the P90X- when I feel a little stronger I want my husband and I to try it. We are big into friendly competition (and getting toned up!)
Keep going!

LOL...my wife ribs me too..."I been working out with weights forever and you just start and look what is happening already! You suck!"
Yum, roasted brussel sprouts are my fav!
And I loved your question. :) I'll but in a good word with random.org :)
You are such a good example of what we can do when we decide to "just do it".
four pounds is good is it not??????
I am a HUGE advocate of only weighing in once a week. Since the scale is really not accurate day to day what's the point of putting yourself through such craziness? I would say weigh in 2x's a week at the most- mid week and at your weigh in day. Just a suggestion :)
Enjoy your hairitude adjustment date with you mom!
WTG on the -4.....and yes, unless you want to be batty, stick with once a week.......(I jumped on my scale today and it told me +1.1 since Sunday....and the pants I wore last week are telling me I'm smaller? eeeshhhh...why on earth do I do this to myself?)
AWESOME!!!!!!
yay for 4!!
I'm definitely trying the Brussels sprouts. I wondered how the PX actually worked. I stacked up all 13 dvd workouts and I'm doing a different one each day. I have all of the firm workouts! At least this is making each morning interesting.
The scale can be wonky....but seeing that loss had to feel good! Can't wait to see your new 'do!
Syl, Syl, Syl. Back away from the scale. Once a week only! That silly machine is going to have us all in the looney bin!
Wow, five weeks in. That is really an accomplishment. Can't wait to hear where you are at at the end of it.
Maybe you should put your scale away until then? ;)
I'm back to weighing inn once a week too but I'm not sure if I keep doing that, I feel like I'm losing it this week. Have been eating too much this week so wonder what it will be tomorrow.
Look forward to your new haircut. I have an appointment tomorrow but going for the same color and same style as last time.
Wow your scale is really fluctuating? How weird.
Go back to once a week.. if you need to.. have your husband lock it up for the week.
I am a once a day but my scale only shows about a lb or two either way.
I SoOOOOOO need my hair done... last hair cut was November :( I should get on that.
Everyone makes brussel sprouts sound so good. I've only tried frozen and think they have a weird aftertaste.
Can't wait to see the new hair!
Congrats on making it to week 5 on P90x. I just ordered it myself with hopes that my husband and I can have some friendly competition as well. LOL I do hear it's killer though! I'm def. going to give your brussel sprouts recipe a try. I've been steaming mine and they just aren't that enjoyable.
Hair appointments are SO fun! Enjoy it!
My husband walks around flexing too, now that both he and I are going to the gym. Cracks me up... they get like little boys, don't they?? So proud of their muscles!! LOL
You're doing great ...don't let the scale fool you. :)
woooohhhoppp Great Job!!! I love to hate my scale :) You are doing so great and continue to be an awesome inspiration!! keep up the good work and I totally get the choking your husband I mean adoring him (I didn't type choking really) Good for you guys!
Just another way I do not understand scales!! Ah! butt good job for you!
It sounds like p90x is working! I may have to try it soon!
Now do you do anything along with it? I know you've mentioned classes and running, but how many times a week do you "double up"?
What an amazing job girl! And more power to ya for sticking with the P90X. That stuff is HARD. :)
Did I read that right?? You're down 4 lbs and you want to burn the scale?? I think I'd be kissing it - heeheee.
Don't men drive ya nuts?! Their bodies seem to change and develop so much faster than ours. Garry & I have the same thing going on when we work out together.
I had no idea you have naturally dark hair. The blonde quite suits you, but now I'm curious to see what you look like with dark.
I left you a bloggy award - Miss Sunshine! Have a good day, and hope you're feeling better today.
