Staying Active

And this is how it began, my first pair of running shoes, these shoes allowed me to accomplish so much, and continue to give me the confidence to get to the "finish line"

After months of training this was the finish line of my first 5km Run. Came in with a time of 32:31 and had my cheerleaders at the finish line. I showed my kids that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. To this day they still play "mother's day run" as they run around the house like mad children :-)

First 10km Run and had a group of very supportive ladies run it with me. This run was memorable because I ran it very sick. With in days I was on an inhaler and told to stop running until I start feeling better. My time on this run was 1:07:00. Although it was a tough run for me, I was proud that I finished and not only that but I had my mom, my best friend and family there with me.

My second 10km run. First evening run and the strongest one I have run to date. Official time 1:02 shaving 5 minutes off my last 10k! I have never felt more accomplished.

Keeping active with the family, be it at a park, at a lake, hiking or even on a bike.
